How I got here

I didn't plan to end up in digital marketing. Like a lot of people who find their way into this industry, I got here through a combination of curiosity, circumstance, and a refusal to accept that the internet was something that just happened to businesses rather than something they could shape.

I spent years working across SEO projects, and digital strategies for businesses. I got good at it. But something shifted when AI started changing the way search actually worked.

The rules I'd spent years learning were being rewritten in real time. And I had two choices: wait and see, or get ahead of it.

I chose to get ahead of it. Virtual Jayne is where I document what I'm learning, testing, and proving — in public, in real time. It's a blog, a newsletter, and a personal brand built on one simple belief: the best way to stay relevant is to keep learning out loud.
